Why?
Although experience has become an everyday buzzword, most businesses do not know how to change the core business processes to render customer experiences. A holistic multi-sector approach is a key for successful experience product development; the best innovations are created by exploiting the broadest creative potential and breaking the boundaries between industries like tourism and content industry or ICT and cultural production.
The seminar is aimed at companies who want to understand the logic of the Experience Economy and beyond. The participants will get a profound insight into the possibilities of the Experience Economy with the help of keynote speakers and several cases. The current themes - e-business, product development and foresight research - are on the main stage all the time.
How?
On the first seminar day the three themes are observed within three international cases. On the second one some of the Finnish destination business networks will be presented and pitched. These are regional, national, international and virtual destination business networks comprised of businesses, universities and public sector actors under specific areas and where resources in the national Tourism and Experience Management Cluster Programme are allocated for. The second seminar day is held both in English and Finnish, the first day only in English.
